“Being a little bit selfish when it comes to making gifts, I like to ‘have my cake and eat it too.’ After considerable study, I realized I could do just that in making a gift to my Alma Mater. Where else can you give money away and get all the benefits Kent School’s Pooled High Income Fund and Charitable Gift Annuity Programs offer?
- Secure lifetime variable (Pooled Income Fund) or fixed (Gift Annuity) income to donor and spouse;
- by-pass or minimize capital gains taxes on IRS 1040 by using highly appreciated, long-term securities for gifting purposes;
- get more annual income when stock dividends are unable to keep up with growth in stock value;
- receive a substantial charitable income tax deduction on your 140 return;
- and MOST IMPORTANTLY provide Kent School with endowment money to enable future students to enjoy the quality education I received when I was one.
